The Assos Equipe RSR S9 Targa bib shorts are a racing garment for riders who need immediate performance on their rides. The redesign of these bib shorts takes aerodynamics, lightness and race design beyond even WorldTour standards. To increase comfort and reduce weight without compromising performance, compressive and aerodynamic properties, stretch and support have been increased at specific points. Specifically, pressure has been reduced in the most sensitive areas, which allows for increased aerodynamics and compression in the rest of the garment. In addition, the new design offers faster drying, preventing sweat from wetting the fabrics and therefore increasing weight. The Type.701kompressor fabric, exclusively designed for this bib short, offers compression, friction-free comfort and abrasion resistance. It also protects against UV rays (SPF +50) and neutralises odour while keeping the skin fresh. Ossidia fabric panels complement the compressive properties of the Type.701 material. While Ossidia provides elasticity to sensitive areas, Type.701 fabric allows the rest of the garment to benefit from a second-skin fit, so comfort is not compromised. Assos' most aerodynamic aeroFit cut maximizes speed while prioritizing comfort.
S9 Sundeck chamois: This chamois pad is lightweight and slim in design, perfected for increased cooling capacity. The odour-neutralising fabric on top features a 3D design in the basalt colour range, which pays homage to a volcanic rock that symbolises strength, stability and courage.
