Fizik's Tempo OverCurve R4 shoes were designed for ultimate versatility, so you can make the most out of your ride, no matter where it takes you. They were built to deliver comfort without sacrificing performance, for riders who demand both. This wide version was designed for riders with wider feet, providing a higher volume fit with more room at the forefoot around the ball of the foot and metatarsals.
Its construction combines a durable and resistant PU material over a comfortable mesh thus providing enhanced ventilation and long-lasting support. Its features a BOA IP1 dial for a fast, reliable and secure closure in an asymetric shape for superior comfort without pressure points.
The Overcurve shoe construction features a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural alignment of the ankle’s two bony protrusions: the lateral and medial malleoli. The result is an asymmetrical shape, with the throat of the shoe curving over the foot from its outside to its inner side.
It features a stiff R4 outsole that offers the perfect balance between comfort and pedaling efficiency. Its lower profile has been optimized with a 15% infused carbon fiber composition. The vents provide superior ventilation so your feet can stay dry no matter how intense your ride is.
The cleat is positioned slightly further towards the heel compared to traditional placement to optimize pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression, especially suited to aggressively forward aero riding positions.
